It’s so fun to open up the package of supplies and see what goodies you got in there! Besides the basic pieces to make the tags, you get some goldish jewels and a roll of twine, plus Dimensionals, which are the only adhesive you need.

Here’s a tip that usually works! As you punch out the pieces of any kit, if you keep the stack of the same pieces lined up and together, you can usually punch out all three pieces in the stack at the same time. You don’t necessarily have to do each one on each sheet. Just stack them up perfectly and punch them out! Once you have all the pieces and embellishments laid out on the table, you are in good shape to start assembling the project!

This Festive Tags Kit makes 15 tags for your holiday gifts! Three each of five designs! That really gives you a good variety! And just stick on the greeting (in another language, if you choose!) instead of stamping! Tied the decorated tag onto a backing tag and you have a cute tag with space to write on the back who the gift is to and from. Once you add those gold-colored self-adhesive jewels, it really makes those cute tags pop!

I just love these holiday tag-making kits because we always need more tags when we are wrapping packages! It is good to stock up and have lots of tags on hand! Or, if you prefer, make the tag without the string and add it to the front of a card! Tie a bow on the top with ribbon or twine. What a cute decoration to make an easy card!

In this kit, you get a cute snowman, wreath, holly, ornament, and Christmas tree. The pieces are diecut and you get all the embellishments and twine. There is no stamping! Did you notice the very interesting background on the cards? It’s an acrylic-poured paint art style that was used for a marbled color effect. My niece showed me some artwork she was doing with this method a few years ago and it looked so fun I wished I could have zapped myself right over there to play, too! Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Cards

When my Paper Pumpkin Kit finally shows up in my mailbox each month, usually the weekend is a good time to sit down and make the project in the kit! These are the three card designs to make with the kit and from there, you can make whatever you want with the supplies!

I usually like to make the project as designed first, and then decide if I want to continue or make some alternates. There are always alternative ideas for each Paper Pumpkin Kit on the internet and even on the directions Stampn’ Up! sends in the box!

This kit was to celebrate ten years of Paper Pumpkin! I think I attended the Convention when the first kit was introduced, or at least I remember I got a free kit at the Convention! I always say it’s a present you give yourself to get a papercrafting kit right in the mail with everything you need inside, but it really does seem like a gift! You open the cute box and inside you’ll find the package of supplies all wrapped up in colored tissue paper, just like a gift! So it IS a gift you give yourself!! And you can gift someone else, too!

The cards in this kit have a pretty design already printed on the front, and then there are diecut pieces of foliage and ferns and pots to add to the card front. There are pieces on which to stamp a greeting and add that to the card. I put the greetings on two cards but I may use another greeting from another stamp set on some of the other cards. So the kits are always easy to make for anyone.

This celebratory kit even came with an extra FREE stamp set to use any time! Paper Pumpkin often has little surprises for us!

Here is a video to see how this kit went together. There is always a video you can watch plus the directions that come in the kit. Some months there are extra full kits or “refills” that are available in the Online Store IF you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber. If you decided you loved a particular kit and wanted another one, or, for example, at Christmas time maybe you want two kits to make a lot of gift tags or cards. If you subscribe now to receive the April Kit but wish you had the March kit after you subscribe you can shop in the Online Store under Paper Pumpkin -Past Kits, Refills & More and presently, purchase the “Refill” for the March Kit. If you are not familiar with Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up!, it is a monthly subscription papercrafting kit that comes in the mail to you! Every month you get this cute box with all the supplies you need, including adhesive, to make the project for that month. Mostly the kits are cards, but they can be little treat boxes or a home decor item, a small album, gift card holders, special projects for holidays….almost anything! With the first kit, you receive a special acrylic block on which to mount your stamps that come in a set in the kit. You can always watch a video, plus read the directions to make each project. And if you want to, Paper Pumpkin always gives you alternative ideas for using the materials in the kit.
