The new My Digital Studio downloads were so exciting yesterday that I decided to try creating my own banner for my 12 Weeks of Christmas emails that begin later today!  If you are on my newsletter mailing list, once a week you will receive a special email with a Christmas project for you to make or be inspired by.  I got to work in My Digital Studio, did some cropping in the photo program on my computer and voila….

This is the bottom footer of my newsletter.  For the banner, I began with a template that was in the program and then added to it.  To see it, you'll have to be on my mailing list…..so go sign up in the upper left corner here in my blog for my Monthly Email Newsletter that gives you stamping news and ideas and that will get you the "12 Weeks of Christmas".  Hope you enjoy!  Watch your inbox later today!

Not familiar with My Digital Studio?  It's digital papercrafting at its best….because it is from Stampin' Up!  And if you automatically think of digital scrapbooking…..yes, it is that….but that's not all!  Even if you never scrapbook a page, you'll find other uses for My Digital Studio….making cards, invitations, party favors, home decor items, decorations….really the possibilities are endless.  Watch a video about My Digital Studio and find out more HERE.

And you don't have to give up traditional papercrafting at all…..in fact, you can combine the two!  That's called "hybrid"…. after your digital project is printed, add some "real" embellishments to your project.

I knew this Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set #123946 (clear) looked like a fun one when I saw it!  And then I got the idea from a long time ago to use those clear "rocks" to make magnets with the stamp set.  I need to search deeper in all my craft stuff to see if I have more pebbles (I think they are called) because these would be so fun to make!

I stamped on Whisper White and punched out with the 1" circle punch. In the past I glued the pebble on over the stamped image and then cut around the pebble shape with a scissors when dry.  Just depends on whether or not you want it to match the pebble shape exactly.  I used Crystal Effects.  Just glue on a magnet to the back and you're done! These are so easy and fun!

Last day of the Stampin' Up! Convention. How sad! But I'm sure it will be a fun day! I just downloaded the 700 photos I took yesterday! Get ready! Well, I don't have time to post them right now but over the next weeks! Have I already said three times that the displays are fantastic?! I haven't won anything yet….usually after a demonstration on stage they have "Prize Patrol" where they put up a wristband color and those people jump up and holler, dance and scream until an SU employee brings them their prize! The music plays and everyone is applauding…pure excitement and fun! Now if we just would all win! 🙂 Two classes this morning, lunch and then last General Session this afternoon. I think I have one last card to swap.
