Here is a Halloween card I made in My Digital Studio using a designer template….and then changing it! It was a birthday card with a little bird, but I changed the background paper, added a layer under the main panel, and added Spooky Bingo Bits images instead of the bird. A couple of Halloween greetings, of course, change the card from birthday to Halloween! It's so much fun! Just start with something already designed and then you can change one thing on it or every single thing! Whatever you like!

The "Wherever You Go" Stamp Brush Set was one of the latest digital downloads released for My Digital Studio this week. "Stamp Brush" means it acts like a regular stamp. One of the new features of MDS2 is that some stamp brushes are SVG files which means they can be enlarged without pixelating, and if you have an e-cutter you can use them with that. I didn't realize as I first looked over the new downloads that this one was designed like an overlay. These can be used over photos to perhaps create home decor and be framed.

Labor Day weekend seems to mark the end of summer, so why not look back over your summer activities and scrapbook some photos! My Digital Studio makes it so easy and fun, especially the new My Digital Studio Version 2.
I decided to make an 8×8 scrapbook page with My Digital Studio of my husband and his sister going back to the park where they used to play as children and go on picnics.I started with a template and then changed it how I wanted it. This new Version 2 has so many great new features!

You can easily see the few changes I made. So even when you start with a template, if you don't like some part of it (or all of it!) you can change every single thing! Or you can just insert your photos and you're done!

Today is the first day of school for about 200,000 children in the Houston Independent School District. Today is the first day in many years that I do not have a child starting school. It's funny how your life revolves around a school calendar for so many years and then all of a sudden you don't even know when school starts! But you can't help think about what a big day this is for SO many children, parents, teachers, administrators, bus drivers, etc. The first day my daughter went to kindergarten was probably the longest day of my life just wondering what she was doing every second (and yes, it was a full day of school!)
Don't you think it would put a smile on your child's face to find a little card or note from you in their lunchbox or backpack in these first few days of school…or even all year? There's even a pencil hiding on that white panel but I colored it white so it would disappear because I didn't want it on my card!

After relating my story in yesterday's post about seeing a portion of the filming of "Hit & Run" movie with Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper and several other stars last summer in California, I made a digital scrapbook page today with my photos with My Digital Studio by Stampin' Up! I simply chose a template that was already in my collection, added the photos, added and COLORED the red car (a new feature of MDS Version 2…oh so fun!!!), and added the text box. I added a few faces in the car windows from the digital stamp set "All in the Family".
It is truly AMAZING what improvements Stampin' Up! has made in this version of My Digital Studio! The more I play with it, the more I have to encourage you to try it!!
