Who can get enough of this Painted Autumn Suite of products, especially, of course, the Painted Harvest Stamp Set and the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper?! The Painted Autumn Paper is one of the selections on the Buy 3 Get 1 Free Designer Series Paper Sale going on now through October 31.

This is one of those quick and easy cards to make basically with just the designer paper and a greeting.  I chose Soft Sky Cardstock for the card base. After I chose the sunflower pattern, I chose Crushed Curry Cardstock for a layer underneath to help make it stand out. Every package of designer series paper comes with a list of coordinating cardstock colors printed on the back (in teeny tiny print!  I always write the list in black marker on the back cardboard!!)

I glued the designer paper on to the Crushed Curry layer and decided if I wanted to use some ribbon wrapped around or not.  I chose the Gold 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon, which is gorgeous. It doesn’t wrap all the way around, just the ends are adhered on the back to save ribbon!

The greeting is stamped in Early Espresso ink and die cut with the oval Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and layered on a scrap of Gold Foil Sheet die cut with a scalloped edge.

I think it turned out to be a beautiful card and that’s all you need to do to it!  Card base, layer,  designer paper, a bit of ribbon and a greeting!

This card would be beautiful with another greeting on it, as a “Thinking of You” type card, a birthday card, or a “Just a Note” type of card.  If you have seen lots of samples using this stamp set and this paper, it’s because it is all so pretty and can really be accented with some of the other products in the Suite.
