The November Paper Pumpkin holiday kits are on their way to subscribers’ destinations so now it is time to find out about the December Paper Pumpkin Kit coming out mid-December.
The Something for Everything kit includes a super-versatile stamp set complete with (a whopping!) 13 sentiments that can be used for occasions ranging from wedding, to get well, birthdays, and more! Plus, the three full-sized card designs (4 of each) are gorgeous but completely versatile, giving you the flexibility to use them for any occasion. Start the new year right with cute, fun, and easy cards for 2020.
It sounds like a great way to get an assortment of cards made that will be at your fingertips for mailing when the occasion arises. Often we need a card right away and don’t have time to make one of our usual masterpieces! If you get this Paper Pumpkin Kit and make up the cards, you can keep them handy for those moments when you really need a card right away!
This November Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! makes 24 holiday-themed gift tags of 4 various sizes and designs. The coordinating colors are Early Espresso, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce. We are all going to need gift tags when the holidays get closer and we are wrapping gifts, whether for our family, neighbors, co-workers, teachers, etc.
Even if you don’t need gift tags, make them as tags and then add one to the front of a cardstock card base and make a card! Maybe you need more cards than tags! You can do this with any tag. Just use it as the focal point on your card front! Add a greeting on the tag or on the card front.
Don’t run out to the store and buy the cheap tags at the dollar stores to stick on presents! Make your own with this Paper Pumpkin Kit! Remember, presentation is everything! Making a plate of cookies or treats for a neighbor or holiday party? Place a tag on the top over the plastic wrap or lid. Hang it on a wine bottle you are taking as a hostess gift!
Everything you need for the project comes in the kit! If you are a new subscriber, you will also get a clear acrylic block on which to mount your stamps. That’s why these Paper Pumpkin Kits are so good for new stampers and crafters or those who do not have many supplies….or don’t WANT many supplies!
In each Paper Pumpkin Kit you will receive an exclusive stamp set, an ink spot (1″ x 1″) (great to use on the Stamparatus to ink up stamps!), and a package of materials to make the project! And the presentation is everything of course! You will love receiving this gift to yourself!
Treat yourself to a present in the mail once a month! And if some months you are too busy or traveling or don’t care for that upcoming kit, just skip a month! If Paper Pumpkin really is not for you, there is no obligation to continue. Simply go into your account and cancel or ask me to take care of it for you.
In fact, if you want toadd a Paper Pumpkin subscription to your Stampin’ Up! order(maybe to reach Hostess Rewards??), just choose which length of time is good for you and add it to your order. Stampin’ Up! will send you an email with directions on how to set up your Paper Pumpkin account and put in the special code showing that you ordered a series of kits in the Online Store. Even if you already have a monthly subscription to Paper Pumpkin, you can purchase a Paper Pumpkin subscription in the Online Store and your account will use those first and then go back to your monthly subscription. Just ask if you have any questions.
The deadline for signing up for the November kit with materials for making holiday tags is today, November 10, 2019.
I hate to tell you that you can’t get this Paper Pumpkin Kit any more because it makes a beautiful Christmas card. I just made this one card exactly like the kit directions but I wanted to try out some other alternate ideas that I will find online or maybe think of myself! The Paper Pumpkin holiday season kits are always extra special!
This photo really doesn’t do this card justice. The evergreen trees you see are on the base card front. Then the snowflakes at the top of that part of the card are stamped with the Night of Navy ink from the snowflake stamp included in the Paper Pumpkin Kit.
Next, the white trees are punched out of the die-cut. They are on white glimmery paper to look like snow. This piece includes the snow base for the bottom with a tree on each side. This piece is adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up. This gives a 3D effect to the front of the card. It is a little tedious to stick on the little dimensionals, some cut in half for the tree branches.
The cute little redbirds are die cuts so all I had to do was punch them out and stick them on with glue dots (included in the kit) onto the tree branches! They really “pop” on this card!
For a little more bling, there are snowflake sequins included to stick on the card background with the mini glue dots. If you have the Take Your Pick Tool it would be handy for picking up the tiny snowflake sequins, but if not, use your Paper Snips.
The greeting is included in the stamp set of the kit and is stamped on the die-cut banner piece. This is popped up and layered on the woodgrain die-cut piece and that is all adhered to the bottom front of the card.
Inside I will stamp another greeting and the card will be ready to go. It also came with silver foil trimmed envelopes! That makes it all look luxurious!
In spite of the fact that no extra kits are available after the October Kits were sent out (that’s how popular it was!), it might give you a glimpse into the November Paper Pumpkin Kit. That kit “coordinates” with this October Kit. I don’t know what that means, exactly, but I’m sure it will be a good kit.
Kit details: Makes 24 holiday-themed gift tags of 4 various sizes and designs.
Coordinating colors: Early Espresso, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce
The October and November kits coordinate; however, each kit is all-inclusive and can stand alone.
Supplies may be limited toward the end of each subscription period so don’t delay!
So if you find it enticing to get a cute winter-themed box in your mail in just over a week with a fun project inside making gift tags (if for some reason you don’t need handmade gift tags to make your gifts extra special, just put them on the front of a card instead!). Get an extra kit and have fun stamping with a friend! The deadline to sign up is November 10! Don’t delay!
You know how they say little kids have the most fun playing with the box a gift came in? In this case, I had a lot of fun playing with the Paper Pumpkin box to make a Haunted House! I also had a lot of fun making the cute treat boxes in the Paper Pumpkin Kit! The first haunted house idea came from a Stampin’ Up! employee who then did a Facebook Live explaining his tips on making your own haunted house out of the Paper Pumpkin September Kit box. It was a special edition box in Gorgeous Grape instead of the usual red so that really lent itself to making a haunted house!
I followed the same pattern that the Stampin’ Up! employee found online. It needed to be enlarged and then printed and then placed on the opened box. A couple of pieces had to be reversed so that the outside of the box was on the outside of the house. I found a video online of a lady who made the house and showed exactly how she laid out her pieces. However, I wanted the outside of my house to have the pattern going in the correct direction so I laid my main pieces out a little differently. It all worked. You might want to make a practice house out of other cardboard or cardstock to see how it all goes together but I jumped right in!
Be sure to label the pieces as you trace them and cut them out. Use a heavy-duty scissors or utility knife of some kind. Hot glue is recommended for assembling the house. The thing is, since it is a “haunted” house, you don’t have to worry about strings of hot glue or glue that shows or house pieces that aren’t perfectly straight because any pieces that are “off” just make the house look even spookier!
After assembling the house, use whatever embellishments or pieces from the Paper Pumpkin Kit to decorate the outside of the house. I also used images from the Monster Bash Designer Paper. I didn’t decorate the roof of the house because I like the “Paper Pumpkin” showing on the top!
To get the mailing label off the outside of the box, use your heat gun and then peel it off. I don’t think you will get all the adhesive off so just pounce the Embossing Buddy all over it, which will still show the powdery effect but that’s okay because it is a haunted house! And I put that piece on the back of the house anyway!
For the base, just cut a piece of any other cardboard according to the pattern and cover with Mossy Meadow Cardstock if you like. I cut a door in mine but you could also just adhere something to look like a door. I cut out the UPC number from the box, planning to use it as the “address” on the house, but I lost it because it was so small!
This was really fun to make and easier than I thought to assemble. If you don’t have a Paper Pumpkin box, just use other cardboard and decorate. As I write this post, you CAN purchase the same Bone Appetit Kit and refill in the Stampin’ Up! Online Store but you must be a subscriber to access this category. Sign up now for Paper Pumpkin and get the Holiday Kit coming in November and possibly the past October kit for holiday cards!
If you would like to do at least “a little” crafting for the holidays, the Paper Pumpkin Kit for November is your answer! Maybe you are new to crafting and stamping or maybe you only like to stamp and make things occasionally. Paper Pumpkin is for you! And for those of us who have oodles of stamps, paper, and craft supplies Paper Pumpkin is fun to have an already designed project with all supplies included that we can just sit down and make!
This November Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! makes 24 holiday-themed gift tags of 4 various sizes and designs. The coordinating colors are Early Espresso, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce.
I would hazard a guess that even if you didn’t want or need that many tags, you could make cards with the tag on the front as the focal point. Every month creative people make alternate projects with the supplies in the kit and post them on the internet so you will be able to find other ideas if that is what you want. Sometimes I do a little of both…..make the project as designed and also save some pieces to make other cards or projects.
Our family likes to have LOTS of packages under the tree and I have often found myself running out to the store to buy more tags, especially after the kids arrive and want to wrap their gifts. These are usually cheap tags to slap on in a hurry on the gift. Wouldn’t a handmade, pretty tag look a lot better on your gift?
Everything you need for the project comes in the kit! If you are a new subscriber, you will also get a clear acrylic block on which to mount your stamps. That’s why these Paper Pumpkin Kits are so good for new stampers and crafters or those who do not have many supplies….or don’t WANT many supplies!
In each Paper Pumpkin Kit you will receive an exclusive stamp set, an ink spot (1″ x 1″) (great to use on the Stamparatus to ink up stamps!), and a package of materials to make the project! And the presentation is everything of course!
Treat yourself to a present in the mail once a month! And if some months you are too busy or traveling or don’t care for that upcoming kit, just skip a month! If Paper Pumpkin really is not for you, there is no obligation to continue. Simply go into your account and cancel or ask me to take care of it for you.
Now if you missed the coordinating October Kit that had to be signed up for by Oct. 10th, if you subscribe NOW to Paper Pumpkin, there is a chance in a few days that Stampin’ Up! will have extra kits that they will put in the Online Store, only available to Paper Pumpkin subscribers. You can order whatever is in the Paper Pumpkin Past Kits category with your regular Stampin’ Up! order.
The deadline for signing up for the November kit with materials for making holiday tags is November 10, 2019. Supplies may be limited near the end of the subscription period. You may think you will remember, but it’s easier to just do it today and then look forward to mid-November when those kits go out!
(This is my personal link so you don’t have to put in my name as your Demonstrator. You can also sign up at www.paperpumpkin.com and choose me, Karen Fontinelle, as your Demonstrator.)
I had so much fun making up this Paper Pumpkin September 2019 Kit with Halloween Treat Boxes yesterday while watching the Houston Texans lose another football game that they didn’t need to lose. It was good I had a distraction! I really enjoyed making this kit and not just because it was a Halloween theme!
Paper Pumpkin is a monthly papercrafting kit made by Stampin’ Up! that comes to you in the mail when you subscribe. You may think you do not want to be committed to a “subscription” but there really is no pressure or risk to a Paper Pumpkin subscription. You can go into your account at any time before the 10th of any month and “skip” a month or two if you like. If you want to cancel, just cancel. I consider it a gift to myself each month to receive this special box in my mailbox!
The presentation of the kit is wonderful, too! They don’t just throw all the materials in the box. All the materials are packaged up and wrapped in tissue paper just like a gift. There is also an exclusive stamp set and small ink spot. I think one of my favorite parts about the Paper Pumpkin Kit is opening it up and laying out all the materials provided in the kit! I love to see all the pieces I have been given!
In this September Kit you can see the pamphlet with directions (there is also a helpful video online for each kit), the stamp set, the treat boxes, the various tags, the embellishments for the boxes, the bag of little black clothespins, the adhesive dots and even some black mini dimensionals to pop up some of the pieces.
I didn’t close up all my boxes yet, just some to see what they would look like and to show you in this blog post. I don’t want to have to undo all of them when I actually put candy or treats inside closer to Halloween! I got 20 boxes to make in this kit. I made 16 and am deciding if I want to make some alternative projects instead of all the boxes! Obviously it is your kit so you can use the materials however you like in any month! Sometimes I do half and half….make half as designed and make some other projects that I see online for something different!
Here is a closeup of some of the boxes so you can see the decorated Halloween tags that are then clipped onto the handle of the box with a small black clothespin! The skeleton hand is adhered to the front of the clothespin with the glue dots. Such a cute project! Maybe you can see the clothespin clipped to the top of the box in this side view below.
If you are interested in trying Paper Pumpkin, it is just the right time because the next two month’s kits will coordinate for the holidays! The October 2019 Kit will be 10 cards and the November Kit will be 24 holiday-themed gift tags of 4 various sizes and designs. Sounds like fun to me! I can guarantee you will be glad to have 10 extra cards, even if you are making some on your own, just in case! I know I always have a few more people I want to send cards to. And we all will need gift tags!
The cost of each monthly kit is $22 plus tax but that includes shipping. In your first kit, you will receive an acrylic block made for Paper Pumpkin with which to mount the stamps. In all the kits you will receive an exclusive stamp set, an ink spot, adhesives, and all the materials to make the project, whatever it is! No need to design something yourself or order supplies you don’t have……it’s all in the box! Just open and craft! And of course, you will have the stamp set and ink spot to use in the future. In fact, the ink spots are great to use with the Stamparatus!
October is coming up tomorrow and the important date to remember is October 10th! And then November 10th, if you don’t subscribe in October! But I suggest subscribing by October 10th so you receive both kits and will be ready for Christmas! Do it today so you don’t forget!
If you enjoy holiday craft projects, especially ones that come in a special edition box in perfect packaging, delivered straight to your mailbox for you to open up and begin crafting immediately, then you probably will love to get these October and November Paper Pumpkin Winter Wonders 2019 Holiday Kits.
The October and November Paper Pumpkin Kits are coordinating, back-to-back kits to help you with your holiday giving. Everyone loves the holiday kits and they are useful as well as fun!

The October and November kits coordinate; however, each kit is all-inclusive and can stand alone.
How great would that be to know you will have a pre-planned kit to make 10 Christmas cards to send, even if you are a regular cardmaker and have some other card designs you want to make for Christmas. I like to make many different designs of cards that I send out for Christmas!
This also means that by the end of October, you surely will have at least ten cards made for the holidays so that is ten less that you will have to rush to make at the last minute!
Then in November, you will get the second kit with designs and supplies to make tags for gifts. If you don’t need tags, use them to make more cards if you like! But usually, we always need more tags! I know I have run out to the store at the last minute in past years for MORE tags for presents!
To get one or both of these kits (with no obligation to continue your subscription, but you probably will want to!), just sign up HERE at my Paper Pumpkin website! Just remember the deadline is October 10th to get the October kit, and if you don’t subscribe then, the deadline for the November kit will be November 10th. Save yourself the effort of remembering and just subscribe NOW!
Another option is to purchase a subscription on your Stampin’ Up! order in the Online Store! This may help you reach $150 or more on your order and thus get Stampin’ Rewards! You will get an email from Stampin’ Up! telling you how to set up your Paper Pumpkin account and a code to use to register your prepaid kits. It’s easy. Decide which method works best for you. Even if you have a subscription to Paper Pumpkin, you can add a subscription to your Stampin’ Up! order, use those prepaid kits in your account, and then it will revert back to your monthly subscription. Choose whichever option is better for you!

The August Kit is a special one. While most subscribers enjoy cardmaking, sometimes Stampin’ Up! likes to change it up and have a different kind of project. But often crafters will also make cards to go along with the project. So this month, there is the opportunity for the best of both worlds! The August Kit includes 6 gift bags and 12 gift tags with a fall theme! But if you are also interested in cards, you can purchase the Gift of Fall Add-On Bundle for only $10 in the Stampin’ Up! Online Store. You will see it listed in the left sidebar. But you must be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber to order it!
The Gift of Fall Add-On Bundle is a separate purchase for those who would like to convert their August Paper Pumpkin kit into cards.
The Gift of Fall Add-On Bundle card designs offer a great sneak of the designs and elements to come in the August kit.

Don’t miss out! Remember, once you get the kit you can make whatever you want with the materials inside. And every month, alternative ideas are posted online if you want to try something different. Sometimes I made the project as described and then I might look online and see what else I could do and try one or two of those ideas.
You could use these gift bags for back-to-school teacher gifts or even back-to-school treats for your own kids. Maybe favors for a small party or dinner or make them and save for closer to Halloween. Cut them up and make cards!
Stampin’ Up! guarantees all kits so there is no risk. If Paper Pumpkin is not for you, contact Stampin’ Up! (The nicest people take your calls!) Or cancel any time just by going into your account and stopping your subscription. If you like it but need to take a break, just go into your account and skip a month or two. The magic date to make any changes is always the 10th of the month. Kits are billed and sent out a few days after the 10th.
Fall WILL come eventually so get the August Paper Pumpkin Kit and start having hope that cooler days will come! Regardless of the weather, most of us love fall and all the crafting projects that go with it! The fall colors, the colored leaves, the hint of all the holidays to come.
Stampin’ Up! has tried to make almost everyone happy with this kit! Some people only like to make cards and some people like a variety of projects. This Paper Pumpkin papercrafting kit makes six fall gift bags and twelve gift tags. But this month, Stampin’ Up! is also offering an Add-on kit to make 24 cards with envelopes (note card size, 5″ x 3 1/2″). The cards are preprinted with two different designs. This notecard size is just fine and is mailable as is so you won’t find them too small. You do not need the Add-On Kit to make the Paper Pumpkin Kit. It is just an extra for $10 and you will order it through the Stampin’ Up! Online Store beginning August 1st. Just add it to a regular Stampin’ Up! order, if you want it.
Personally, I just LOVE fall and fall projects which evolve into Halloween and Thanksgiving. And it is way too hot here in Houston in the summer so anything that gives me hope that fall will come with “slightly” lower temperatures here makes me happy! I suppose we are often ready for a season change when the time comes four times a year!
Paper Pumpkin is fun! It’s a treat for yourself to know it will be showing up in your mailbox each month. If you get a sneak peek of an upcoming month and it doesn’t appeal to you or you are too busy or out-of-town, you can skip that month just by going into your account before the 10th of any month and changing it. Then go back in the next month and reactivate your account. Stampin’ Up! guarantees all Paper Pumpkin Kits so if you are dissatisfied, Stampin’ Up! will try to make it right with you. You can also simply cancel Paper Pumpkin by going into your account. So no risk, no obligation.

This June Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! makes it easy to spread a little sunshine this summer! If you would like a project that is beach-themed with a fresh, new look, then this kit is for you. The kit makes 16 fun-sized, beach-themed small cards plus comes with envelopes, of course, and an exclusive carrying case so you will have your cards on hand if you would like to pass them out wherever you go.
The idea is much like “random acts of kindness” except with little cards. Maybe your server at the restaurant was particularly nice, maybe a salesperson was especially helpful, maybe a co-worker could use a little happy card, maybe a neighbor would enjoy a plate of cookies and a little card. Just reach in your carrying case and hand out a little card!
Coordinating colors for this project are Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive. I guarantee you that if you do not want to use these cards as designed, other stampers online will be making alternative projects out of the kit! So you will find other ways to use the materials if you would prefer to use them another way.
These cards are too small to be mailable as is. However, you can always put them into a normal size envelope and send the card that way if you want to mail them.
