Stampin’ Up! has begun coordinating Paper Pumpkin kits with product suites in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog. This July Kit coordinates with not one, but THREE product suites that you can mix and match with the kit!
Here is what you will be making (don’t read if you want to be surprised!):
Makes 9 mailable cards with envelopes (3 each of 3 designs)
Coordinating colors: Gold, Kraft, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock, Sahara Sand, Seaside Spray, and Terracotta Tile
I’m sure you will have fun with your Paper Pumpkin Kit! Just don’t miss out on the original shipment because they often don’t have many extra kits later! The cost is only $22/month and that includes shipping plus everything you need in your kit. With your first kit, you even receive a special acrylic block to use with the stamp set inside.
This June Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! makes it easy to spread a little sunshine this summer! If you would like a project that is beach-themed with a fresh, new look, then this kit is for you. The kit makes 16 fun-sized, beach-themed small cards plus comes with envelopes, of course, and an exclusive carrying case so you will have your cards on hand if you would like to pass them out wherever you go.
The idea is much like “random acts of kindness” except with little cards. Maybe your server at the restaurant was particularly nice, maybe a salesperson was especially helpful, maybe a co-worker could use a little happy card, maybe a neighbor would enjoy a plate of cookies and a little card. Just reach in your carrying case and hand out a little card!
Coordinating colors for this project are Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive. I guarantee you that if you do not want to use these cards as designed, other stampers online will be making alternative projects out of the kit! So you will find other ways to use the materials if you would prefer to use them another way.
These cards are too small to be mailable as is. However, you can always put them into a normal size envelope and send the card that way if you want to mail them.
To get this new June Paper Pumpkin Kit, you MUST be subscribed by Monday, June 10th! That is tomorrow! Click the link below to join Paper Pumpkin. (This is my personal link. If you have a Demonstrator you want to sign up under, them go to www.paperpumpkin.com and choose their name.)
You are free to cancel at any time or just skip a month and then continue. No risk, no obligation. Paper Pumpkin is worth trying even just for one month! But you will probably find that you enjoy getting your kit in your mailbox each month! It’s a gift you give yourself…..or someone else!
Supplies may be limited toward the end of the subscription period.
Give the Perfect Mother’s Day Gift! The Paper Pumpkin Kit “Hugs From Shelli” Kit! Give it to yourself for Mother’s Day just in case that breakfast in bed or cards and flowers don’t quite materialize (or even if they do!) And while you are at it, give one to your mother, daughter, sister, niece, friend, neighbor, whoever! You deserve something extra special that you will enjoy and will be relaxing and pretty!
I mean, C’mon! Who does not want this Paper Pumpkin box to show up in their mail?! Not that the box itself REALLY matters because it is the papercrafting kit inside that is the important thing BUT if “it’s all in the presentation” then you’ve got to love this box!
This is the May Paper Pumpkin Kit and will be in your mailbox in about a week or so IF you are already a subscriber or if you sign up to be one TODAY! Today, May 10th is the last day to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and get this May kit.
What is the big deal about this May Paper Pumpkin Kit? Shelli Gardner, along with her sister, was the founder of Stampin’ Up! Shelli Gardner worked closely with designers and concept artists to create a Paper Pumpkin kit that is uniquely hers. It includes an exclusive photopolymer stamp set, paper, and crafting materials to create 12 cards (3 cards of 4 unique designs), 12 exclusive, coordinating envelopes, and a Classic Stampin’ Spot (small little ink pad!). (These, by the way, are great to save and use with the Stamparatus and they can be reinked.)
Coordinating colors are Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla. One of those is a new In Color so you get an early view!
If anyone could help design beautiful cards, don’t you think it would be Shelli Gardner?! I can’t wait to get this kit!
Read Here in the Online Store about your Paper Pumpkin choices…..subscribe monthly or put a Prepaid subscription on your Stampin’ Up! order. Even if you have a monthly subscription right now, you can always purchase a Prepaid subscription to boost your Stampin’ Up! order, perhaps, to reach Stampin’ Rewards ($150+). The monthly subscription will stop, the prepaid months will kick in, and then go back to your monthly subscription and you don’t have to do anything except put in that Prepaid code you will get by email when your order goes in.
No risk, no obligation to stay on for any certain length of time. Skip a month if you are too busy or traveling or whatever. Cancel if it is not for you. I personally love getting the kit in the mail, like a gift just for me! You can make the project in the kit or make part of it as designed and use the materials to make your own creations. The kit is yours and you can make whatever you want! The beauty of the kit is you don’t have to design or gather supplies…it’s all ready to go when you open the box! Plus you can always view a video online from Stampin’ Up! And after a little while, you can check out alternative ideas for the kit online that other stampers have made.
Just click the button below to sign up with me as your Demonstrator!
We’re getting close to the deadline (May 10) for getting the Hugs From Shelli Paper Pumpkin Kit so sign up for Paper Pumpkin and don’t miss out!
What is Paper Pumpkin? It’s a special box that comes to you in the mail with a complete stamping and papercrafting project inside. Everything you need is inside – an exclusive stamp set, a little ink pad, adhesives, and all the materials you need for the project. Often times the project is cards but in the past projects have also included party favors, specialty cards, mini albums, calendars, treat bags, holiday favors, and more.
Why is this kit called the Shelli Kit? Shelli Gardner, the co-founder of Stampin’ Up!, helped design the kit, and that’s a good thing! From the sneak peek they have given us, the card is exactly Shelli’s style so I’m sure the kit is going to be one of the really wonderful ones. And if you don’t care for the projects in any of the kits, you can use the materials to make different projects. Shortly after the kits go out, stampers often post online alternative ideas for using the materials in the kit.
All this for only $19.95 which includes shipping! You can keep and use the stamp set in future stamping and sometimes there are extra pieces in the kit you can use on other projects.
No risk, no obligation! Try Paper Pumpkin one month or several, and if you feel it is not for you, just cancel your subscription. If you are too busy one month, just go into your account and “skip” that month. If you are truly unhappy, contact Stampin’ Up! as they guarantee each kit and they will try to make it right for you.
Now the Paper Pumpkin price will go up June 1st so go ahead and get the May kit for $19.95 (which includes shipping). The price increase will be $2.05 per month so not bad considering all the goodies you get in each kit! Just the exclusive stamp set alone is worth almost the price of the kit itself.
You can also choose Prepaid Kits in the Online Store, especially if you are already ordering other Stampin’ Up! products. They can help you reach Stampin’ Rewards and if you get a long-term subscription you can save money that way. Check it out HERE.

Many people got quite excited about the February 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit because, for one thing, Stampin’ Up! gave us some hints and a preview, and for another, succulents seem to be a trendy thing nowadays. These are the Paper Pumpkin Grown With Kindness Cards that I made pretty much like the directions with the kit. I even stamped the envelope with an extra stamp in the set of a cup holding a succulent.
The Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin design team actually went out and purchased succulents, then brought them back to the office and photographed them. This is how the photographic images on the front of the cards came about. I think it makes the cards even more interesting to know how they were created! But I always like “behind the scenes” stories!
The kit made nine cards and they were easy to assemble. I left a couple of cards without sentiments so I could add my own when I need them. Since I was on a roll, I just made all the cards as designed. Sometimes I save a few for alternative ideas I might find other people posting on the internet. But I liked these cards just fine, especially those photographic images, so I just made them as is. The choice is completely up to you when you are making your kit!
Here’s the Stampin’ Up! video of how this kit goes together.
Of course, we are past this kit now, but the March 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit is coming up! You can get it if you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin by March 10. That will come up fast so go ahead and subscribe now so you won’t forget! There’s no risk because you can always cancel or skip a month. This kit is going to be about celebrating Paper Pumpkin’s 6th birthday so you know it is going to be special! You will get an EXTRA stamp set in the kit! I can’t wait!
Don’t miss out on another fun kit! AND, as soon as you are a subscriber, you may purchase any past kits or refills (without the stamp set and ink spot) that happen to be available.

This is what you can do when you have extra pieces leftover from a Paper Pumpkin Kit! Just make a card like this one I came up with, A Kangaroo Card With Paper Pumpkin Extra Pieces! It was a really easy card to make and one that I’m really happy with in the end.
I absolutely had no idea of what card I was going to make, but I just chose some designer paper. It turned out to be this Floral Romance Specialty Designer Paperthat has the printed vellum sheets, although I used this regular paper in the package. When I saw all the leaves, I thought I would put a flower on it somewhere. But it also reminded me of the Animal Expedition Suite and that reminded me that the January 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit coordinated with that suite. I pulled out the extra pieces I had left over after making all my pillow boxes for Valentine’s Day.
I just die cut a large circle on which to place my leftover kangaroo and a larger scallop circle out of the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet (sadly, no longer available!). I thought the Whisper White would be too stark so I used a Sponge Dauber to just apply a tiny bit of Balmy Blue ink for the sky and colored in a little ground with my Crumb Cake Light Stampin’ Blends Marker.
The greeting is stamped from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink to match the card base. I just stuck one end under the foil a little bit. Then I remembered there were the little adhesive hearts left over in the Paper Pumpkin Kit and those were just what I needed to complete the card! Sometimes it’s the little things!
See a little hint in the banner above about the upcoming February Paper Pumpkin Kit? Usually Stampin’ Up! keeps the kit a complete surprise, but this time they have been giving us lots of behind-the-scenes glimpses of how the artists plan a kit. I think it has been fun and I’m excited to get my kit as soon as it comes out (and the post office feels like delivering it!).
Here are a few more photos of how the Stampin’ Up! artists worked on their concept for the kit!
If you are thinking maybe they are sending us all succulents…..probably not!! Although my daughter sent me one last year for my birthday or Mother’s Day, so I am already trendy! Succulents are trendy so be sure you are “hip” and subscribe to Paper Pumpkin today!
So what are they doing with all this dirt and succulents?? Taking photographs from all angles to get the best look from each succulent!
Then they will take the photographs and use them to design papers to use in the kit!
If you want to know if the Paper Pumpkin kit is cards or some other project, just ask me! Usually, we don’t know and I don’t want to spoil the surprise for anyone. Funny how some people don’t like surprises and really want to know each month what the kit is going to be and other people love the surprise of opening the box and seeing what is inside! Either way, even if you know, I think it is still a fun surprise to receive the Paper Pumpkin red box in your mailbox and then open it and actually see the contents! Everything is included, even adhesives, plus an exclusive stamp set and ink spot. If you don’t like the project, use the materials to make something else. There are always alternative ideas posted online after people have a chance to work on their kit.
Try Paper Pumpkin and see how you like it! If it is not for you, you are not obligated to continue for any certain time. Just cancel by the 10th of the month. Too busy or traveling? Just skip a month in your account…again, by the 10th of the month. Really dissatisfied with your kit? Give Stampin’ Up! a call and talk to them about it as they guarantee all Paper Pumpkin Kits.
I consider Paper Pumpkin a treat for myself each month! I deserve it and so do you! It’s an easy way to stop the world and do some crafting without finding an idea, getting out your supplies and spending time getting it just right. Just open the Paper Pumpkin Kit box at your kitchen or craft table and it’s all right there waiting for you! So fun to see all the extra little supplies or embellishments they put in the kit!
You only have until Sunday, February 10th to sign up for Paper Pumpkin to be assured of getting this kit! Do it right now while you are thinking about it! I know I don’t always read my “To-do” list after I make it so don’t let time get away from you!
(This is my personalized link so you don’t have to put in my name! But if you have your own Demonstrator you want to sign up under, please just go to www.paperpumpkin.com.)
