Making an Easy Paper Pumpkin Kit Bunny Favor For Spring

March 2017 Paper Pumpkin Bunny Bag

I finally opened my March 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! and within minutes had made this cute bunny favor for spring. I wanted to take something to my friend who was in town when we met for dinner and I thought of this little bunny bag that would be perfect and something different than cards. All I had to do was open the Paper Pumpkin box and everything I needed was in there except a pair of scissors to snip the baker’s twine! Everything!  Well, except the chocolate candy!

March 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit

The little cloth bags were ready to be stamped with a bunny face, and the kit even included an adhesive dot with which to stick the little pom pom for the bunny tail on the back of the bag! So cute! Ears with adhesive on the back were included to stick inside the flaps of the bag. I stamped the little tag and attached to the bag with the tiny clothespin. All so easy!  All I had to do was add some chocolate treats inside the bag and tie with a 12″ piece of the included baker’s twine. My little favor was ready to go in just a couple of minutes, if that long!

March 2017 Paper Pumpkin Bag

Even if you didn’t want to make all the bags for Easter, think how cute they would be to save for a baby gift, like a package decoration for your baby gift or for a little one’s birthday gift. They don’t have to be for Easter or even spring!  Little notecards are also included in the kit that you can put in the bag for a little gift! So many possibilities with these Paper Pumpkin Kits!

Watch the Stampin’ Up! video below to see the entire Paper Pumpkin March 2017 kit and assembly!

April Paper Pumpkin Kit Designed by Sara Douglass

Paper Pumpkin Inspired by Sara Douglass

I think we may all be in for a special treat with the April Paper Pumpkin Kit because Sara Douglass, the CEO of Stampin’ Up! has designed it!  “Bold, vibrant, and artistic—with a little bit of sass,” is how Sara described the kit she designed for the April Paper Pumpkin. We don’t know what the project is inside the box, but we do know that when Sara presents a stamping demonstration at any Stampin’ Up! event, we all enjoy seeing her projects.

Sara said she wants everyone to have a “creative successful experience” with the Paper Pumpkin Kit. And to make it extra fun, Sara has included a FREE GIFT in each kit! Paper Pumpkin is a papercrafting kit from Stampin’ Up! that comes in the mail each month. One of the great benefits of the kit is that the project, whatever it is, is all ready to go.  You don’t have to design anything, gather supplies or own a lot of stamps and ink.  Just open the box and create!

SUBSCRIBE TO PAPER PUMPKIN HERE TODAY!

OR

Purchase any of the Prepaid Kits on your regular Stampin’ Up! order and activate your account by April 10 to receive the April Kit. Spend at least $50 and receive a free Sale-A-Bration item. Prepaid Kits can help you reach Hostess Rewards, too!

The only clue Sara would divulge about the kit was the box itself!  It will be black rather than the usual Paper Pumpkin Red. I’m not sure what we can tell from that, but that’s a clue! Sara said in designing the project, she took inspiration from Pinterest, fashion magazines, and home decor and said that “inspiration is everywhere”.

Don’t miss out!  Join Paper Pumpkin TODAY so you won’t forget!  If you have skipped a month or two, be sure to reactivate your subscription so you will receive the April Paper Pumpkin Kit designed by Sara with a free gift inside! If you want to share, you might even want to go in to your account and order extra kits! Just be sure to be an active subscriber by April 10th!

It’s Paper Pumpkin’s 4th Birthday in March!

Paper Pumpkin Fourth Birthday

This month marks the 4th Birthday of Paper Pumpkin, the papercrafting kit that comes to you in the mail each month from Stampin’ Up! in the cute red box! It’s wrapped just like a special present to you each month because it is! It’s the gift of crafting time for you to sit down and relax, de-stress, and only think about the contents in the box. You don’t have to design anything or gather supplies.  Just open the box! It’s all in there! Read the directions and watch a video if you like, then either make the project as designed or do your own thing with the supplies. Yes, you can change it up if you want!

Paper Pumpkin is a surprise every month! Even if you don’t like surprises (some people don’t!), live dangerously and try it out! It is not always cards to make.  We have had mini albums, candy treats, party favors, a calendar, small home decor items – it could be anything – anything that fits in the box! Some people would only like cards and some people want something other than cards, so a variety eventually pleases everyone, and, as I said, you can use the supplies to make something else if you don’t like the project. And if Paper Pumpkin is not for you, just cancel your subscription. If you know you are going to be too busy, skip a month.

Many people order an extra Paper Pumkin kit or subscription for another friend or loved one and do the kits together or know that their family member is working on their kit across the country at the same time! I send one to my daughter every month. Getting just the Paper Pumpkin Kit works for her and she has come to enjoy that amount of stamping. She doesn’t want the big collection of stamps and things that I have, so having it contained in a box and then being able to give out the project to her friends at book club or sending to her husband’s coworkers or mailing out the cards works for her. If she gets behind, she goes into her account and “skips” a month or two.

JOIN PAPER PUMPKIN TODAY!

For sure do it by March 10th so you get the March Kit! That is FRIDAY!

If you join after March 10th, you will receive the April Kit. Once you are a subscriber you will have access to purchase any of the past kits or refills that are available.

Another option is to add a prepaid Paper Pumpkin subscription to your Stampin’ Up! order. This may help you reach Hostess Rewards or get an additional Sale-A-Bration product. Check it out in the Online Stampin’ Up! Store!

PREPAID PAPER PUMPKIN KITS

I have no information on the March kit, so far! No sneak peeks or clues about it! All I can say is that since the first kits, Paper Pumpkin has done nothing but improve! Just be sure to sign up by March 10th to receive the March kit which will go out mid-month!  Barely any wait once you sign up!

Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin Kit February 2017

Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin Kit February 2017

Did you receive this Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin papercrafting kit for February 2017 in your mailbox a few days ago? It has the directions and all the supplies you need to make nine cards, three each of three different designs. It’s a fun design where you pull the bottom tab to read the greetings through the peek-a-boo slot in the front of the card. It’s something different and we can even copy this idea and make more cards like this technique in the future. And if you choose, you can use the same supplies to make some other design of your choosing. There are always lots of alternative ideas for each kit online.

If you did NOT receive this February 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail, perhaps you would like to join Paper Pumpkin now so that you WILL receive the March 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit in your mailbox! And, as soon as you join Paper Pumpkin, you will be eligible to purchase any past kits or refills (just the supplies, not the stamps or ink spots) if there is something you liked in the past.

You have two options with Paper Pumpkin!

During Sale-A-Bration, you can purchase the 3-month Paper Pumpkin option on your Stampin’ Up! order, save $5, and earn a FREE Sale-A-Bration item! (Be forewarned that if you ONLY have this on your order, you will pay $6.95 to have your free product shipped to you….but surely, you want to add some other products to your order to make the shipping worthwhile!)

If adding a Paper Pumpkin subscription to your Stampin’ Up! order puts your order at or above $150, then you will receive Hostess Rewards as well! Even if you have a monthly subscription, you can purchase the Paper Pumpkin subscription on your order and it will use that subscription first before continuing on with your monthly subscription. Let me know if you have questions about this!

Watch this video to see how to assemble the February 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit. Every month there is a video you can watch if you choose!  And remember, you can use the supplies in the box any way you like, you don’t have to make the exact design!

Go right now to my Paper Pumpkin page to sign up for a monthly subscription to Paper Pumpkin beginning with the March 2017 kit!

Then you won’t forget to do it by March 10th! Or if you prefer, make a note to add it to your next Stampin’ Up! order before March 10th and be sure to set up your account right when you get the email.

Paper Pumpkin Kit Feb 2017 Spoiler Sneak Peek

Paper Pumpkin Kit Feb 2017 Spoiler Sneak Peek

Yesterday I reminded you that TODAY, Feb. 10th was the day to sign up for Paper Pumpkin, the papercrafting kit in the mail from Stampin’ Up! if you want to receive the February kit mid-month. Stampin’ Up! usually keeps it a surprise, but today they have a sneak peek!

Everything you need for the project will be in the box when you receive it, including an exclusive stamp set and an ink spot.  Usually there is adhesive as well.  All you have to do is sit down and craft!  With your first kit you will receive an acrylic block on which to mount the photopolymer stamps in every kit. So you will be all set!

No risk, no obligation!  Try it for a month or a few.  If you get busy, just skip a month in your account.  If it’s not for you (what??!) then just cancel.  No problem.

Join month by month for only $19.95 + tax, which includes shipping, or add Paper Pumpkin to your Stampin’ Up! order if you want to reach Sale-A-Bration rewards or Hostess benefits!

Paper Pumpkin January 2017 Valentine Treat Bags

Paper Pumpkin January 2017 Valentine Treat Bags

I finally got around to making my Paper Pumpkin January 2017 Kit which was Valentine Treat Bags.  I was waiting to see if I would actually make the treat bags or if I would make some alternative ideas, like valentine cards. Of course these wouldn’t have to be just for Valentine’s Day. I saw online where someone used these for party favors for a wedding.

What is Paper Pumpkin?  It’s a crafting kit from Stampin’ Up! that comes in your mailbox once a month with a surprise project inside.  Might be cards, might be a treat bag, might be an album, might be a decor item – you never know!  I’ve heard some people don’t like surprises, but why not live dangerously??  It’s only stamps, ink and paper!  And you do get an exclusive photopolymer stamp set inside every kit plus a small ink spot and all the supplies plus directions for making your kit.  And every month there is a video from Stampin’ Up! to watch as well if you want a little more direction. (It does help!)  You can follow the directions exactly or come up with your own project.  There are no Paper Pumpkin Police checking if you made the project they sent!  Surely you deserve a few minutes of crafting time for yourself!

I actually made my treat bags a little differently than the directions.  I’d read that the top flap was difficult to fold over and keep closed because of the layers of paper and because of the arrow that was supposed to be in the fold. Since I was short on time (of course!) I just cut off that plain foldover part of the bag and stapled the top of the bag shut.  Just be sure to put your treat inside first!  I put 3 pieces of chocolate candy inside.  Maybe you could put one more, depending on your candy.  Of course it wouldn’t have to be just for candy – a small gift or gift card would be very nice inside as well! I didn’t make the arrows and I didn’t put the gold fine thread bunched up behind the stamped heart.  I needed the quick and easy version!  I’ll save the other supplies for another time.  Even glue dots and dimensionals were included in this kit!

Join Paper Pumpkin HERE today or tomorrow and receive the February Kit around the middle of the month.  The 10th of the month is the magic date to sign up to get that month’s kit, or if you are already a subscriber, to skip a month or cancel your subscription.  Otherwise, your choice will go to the next month. There is no obligation, so sign up and try Paper Pumpkin!

If you are putting in a Stampin’ Up! order, you can purchase a subscription to add to your order and possibly earn a free Sale-A-Bration item or maybe reach Hostess benefits. Just click HERE to see the choices in the Stampin’ Up! Online Store.

January 10th! It’s Paper Pumpkin Sign Up Day!

Paper Pumpkin Boxes Shipping

Today, January 10th, is the day to sign up for Paper Pumpkin so that you will receive a red box like one of these in your mailbox around the middle of this month! You’ve had a busy holiday season, I daresay even a busy clean-up season after the holidays, and it’s time to sit down and do something for yourself when your Paper Pumpkin Kit comes in the mail with an exclusive surprise project inside! With your very first kit you will receive a clear block on which to mount the stamps that come in the kit. In each kit is an exclusive stamp set as well as an ink spot plus all the other materials you need for the project. Almost always the project is a surprise. Sometimes we get a hint or a peek, but not usually.  Have some fun, relax, and be surprised!

Each project comes with directions and a Stampin’ Up! video to watch. If you don’t care for the project, make something else with the materials! For example, the December project in the kit was to make an album, but people who didn’t feel that was for them, took the pages of the album and turned them into cards!

This was the December kit:

And for another example, here is the November 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit, which, from what I could tell, was very popular and really made some lovely Christmas cards! Not to mention all the alternate ideas people made with the kit! I know I thought it was beautiful!

Paper Pumpkin November 2016 Kit Wonderful Winterland

Sign up by the 10th of  any month to get that month’s kit. If life gets busy, pause your subscription by the 10th of any month to skip that month or to cancel. Once you are a subscriber, you can purchase any past Paper Pumpkin Kits or refills that are available. Refills come with the materials but not the stamp set or ink spot.

Sign up by the month or prepay for kits on your regular Stampin’ Up! order. For example, during Sale-A-Bration you can put the 3-month Prepaid Paper Pumpkin Kit on your Stampin’ Up! order and save $5, perhaps helping you earn hostess rewards at $150 or more, not to mention earning you one free Sale-A-Bration item!

A Couple of Things About Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up!

Paper Pumpkin December 2016 Kit

In case you haven’t heard, Paper Pumpkin is the papercrafting kit that comes to you in the mail once a month! Each month is a surprise, and as you can see by the December 2016 kit it is not always cards!  This December kit is designed to be made into a mini scrapbook of sorts, or whatever you would like, but you could make cards with the pieces as well. Usually you receive an ink spot and an exclusive stamp set, but for the first time, they are instead including in the kit this rotary stamp and a black marker with which to ink up the words on the rotary stamp.

Now, it is too late to subscribe for the December Kit, but if you subscribe for the January 2017 Kit, you can go back and purchase any of the past kits or refills that are available. And right now Stampin’ Up! is offering the full December kit, #143596, so you don’t have to wait, but you do have to subscribe!  Past kits are only available to current subscribers. So join Paper Pumpkin HERE and then put the December 2016 Kit on your order! You’ll also find more information at that link. Please choose me as your Demonstrator.

Paper Pumpkin November 2016 Kit Wonderful Winterland

Paper Pumpkin November 2016 Kit Wonderful Winterland

On the day after Thanksgiving, it seemed like a good idea to start working on my Paper Pumpkin November 2016 Kit Wonderful Winterland. This is a beautiful kit with these die cut scenes that are layered one on top of another but popped up with dimensionals with a vellum layer in the background and then adhered to the little note card. The snowflakes, trees and greeting are all stamped. The sequins and metallic baker’s twine add the finishing touches to the cards (as well as the twine holding the vellum in place so no adhesive will show!).

If you haven’t heard of Paper Pumpkin, it’s a monthly subscription kit from Stampin’ Up! that comes to you in the mail. Whether you are an advanced crafter or a beginner or not a crafter at all, it’s a kit that entices you to spend some time for yourself, relaxing, and enjoying making the project inside the box! With your first kit, you receive a clear acrylic block on which to mount the stamps. Each kit includes an exclusive stamp set and an ink spot (a 1″ square ink pad!) plus directions and all the materials you need for the project. Each month is a surprise! There is even a Stampin’ Up! video each month showing you how to assemble the kit if you like to watch rather than just read the directions.

Of course it’s your box, so you can change the project and make alternate creations or make it exactly as it is designed! Whatever you want, it’s your craft time! (Some would call it therapy time!!).

Join Paper Pumpkin by December 10th to receive the December kit! Once you are a subscriber, you can purchase any past kits or refills that are available. (There are some available now on the Online Extravaganza.)

Maybe you would like to gift someone with Paper Pumpkin for Christmas as well as getting a subscription for yourself!  You can also order extra kits any month that you choose as long as you change the quantity by the 10th of any month. Skip a month when you need to or cancel your subscription if you must.  No risk, no obligation!  Worth a try!

Paper Pumpkin Halloween Test Tube Candy Treats

Paper Pumpkin Halloween Test Tubes Candy Treat

Yesterday I got around to playing with my September 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit and here is what I made!  I still have some extra tags and banners that I can use to make some other cards. Lucky for me that I had enough CANDY to fill all these test tubes!!! As I worked on these test tube treats, I started thinking of people I could give them to besides my kids, so don’t worry that maybe you don’t have children, grandchildren or trick-or-treaters to pass them out to! Think about taking one or a few along to a doctor appointment, or give to a couple of your neighbors, or take along to a restaurant and give to a good server in addition to a tip, or the drive-thru window at a coffee or fast-food place, there are just all kinds of ways to pass them out to people!

This was such a cute project and so easy to make! I know in the past Demonstrators have loved getting their hands on these fun test tubes to make various treats, so how great to just get them delivered in a Paper Pumpkin Kit!
