Get the December Paper Pumpkin Kit For Some Laughs

Paper Pumpkin Dec 2021 Lots of Pun Banner1

Here’s the new Paper Pumpkin Kit, Lots of Fun, coming mid-December to your mailbox! Several years ago when we were in Austin visiting our son, he took us to this pun festival at the O. Henry Museum. It was an outdoor gathering listening to this spoken word competition of monologues and random topics given to the contestants. Very quirky, but that’s Austin! If you like to groan at puns, this is the place for you! It actually was kind of fun!

Gifts Galore Treat Packages November 2021 Paper Pumpkin

Paper Pumpkin Kit November 2021 contents

Yesterday I was able to take some time to work on my Gifts Galore Treat Packages in the November 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit. This is really a super cute kit with so many fun ways to use the supplies in the kit. Of course, it is designed to make these nine double-sided treat packages that hold a cello bag inside filled with whatever kind of treats you put in the bag! But if you wanted to, you could make twice the number of treat packages by just using one image on the front of the little box instead of on both sides. You could make cards instead of treat packages. You could use them for scrapbook pages. These are just adorable images!

In this kit, the contents included little boxes to fold up to put in between the two cutout images. These are very easy to put together with the included Tear & Tape adhesive. Then just adhere the cutout images to the front and back of the little box. The kit also included printed cello bags for the treats.

There are tags to stamp with a greeting and attached to the package with a little paper clip and a twine bow. Such a cute stamp set as well included in the kit!

Paper Pumpkin November 2021 Kit Treat Packages

I don’t know why the snowman has a green nose, but I plan to fix that! It’s still cute but I don’t know why the carrot nose is green! I’ll just cut a nose out of Pumpkin Pie orange cardstock and replace it. I may add some rhinestones or jewels to the Christmas tree.

I usually like to make part of the Paper Pumpkin Kits are designed, and then I sometimes like to look and see what alternate ideas are out there that I might want to try or copy. This kit was particularly easy to make!

I don’t know if there will be any extra full kits or refills available for purchase in the Online Store, but if you are interested, you have to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and then you will be eligible to purchase extras or refills, if any are available. You can choose any month to skip if you don’t want an upcoming month’s kit. And all the kits are guaranteed by Stampin’ Up! No risk and no obligation! Give yourself the gift of Paper Pumpkin and get a treat in your mailbox each month!

Paper Pumpkin Treats and Wheelbarrow

Paper Pumpkin Treats and Wheelbarrow

After I got my September Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made all the cute little pumpkin treat boxes, but today I made the wheelbarrow! Isn’t it cute?! Stampin’ Up! has continued to up their game with the Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription kits! Not only do the kits get cuter and cuter, but they often have found special ways to use the box…like cutting it up to make this wheelbarrow!! AND the pattern was already printed inside the box so I only had to cut out the pieces and follow the directions and a video on how to put it together!

This Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Kit was really a fun one. It was designed to make a dozen treat boxes like you see in my wheelbarrow. However, as I always say, you can do whatever you want with the contents of the kit, and every month other stampers come up with the most creative ideas for alternate projects. Someone made Sesame Street characters out of these pumpkin treat boxes! And some people cut up at least some of the pumpkin boxes, separated all the rounded panels that make one pumpkin, and then adhered a few together on a card to make a flat, large pumpkin. Alternative ideas on the Paper Pumpkin instructions even showed how to make a turkey and a Frankenstein! So in any month almost, if you have no need for treat boxes, you can likely change things up and make cards out of them. If you have a card kit but don’t like the design or don’t need more cards, just check out some alternative ideas or come up with something on your own. Maybe you can make treat boxes out of the card supplies! Or some other fun project! The only limit is your imagination!

If you subscribed and received this kit, remember that you can make the box into a wheelbarrow. Here is a video you can watch:

For a PDF of instructions, click HERE.

Some of the Paper Pumpkin Kit boxes have had the suggestion to reuse to hold your special treasures or to fill with some treats and goodies and give or send to someone who could use a surprise gift to let them know someone was thinking of them.

I have to say my favorite way to re-use a box was to make a haunted house two years ago! Now for this, you actually needed two kits and I think a customer made up the pattern that we all copied. It was definitely easier to make this wheelbarrow with the pieces already outlined and numbered inside the box!

Paper Pumpkin Haunted House Front
Paper Pumpkin Haunted House Left Side

So cute! Especially for a Halloween-lover like me! Oh, did you notice the Stampin’ Up! logo on the side of my wheelbarrow?! As I was cutting out pieces, I happened to see the Stampin’ Up! logo that was on the box somewhere that I was cutting up. Luckily I didn’t cut into the logo so I thought I should adhere it to the side of my wheelbarrow!

If you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can purchase a Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Refill Kit (159400) for $10.00.

Paper Pumpkin June 2021 Cards

Paper Pumpkin June 2021 Cards

The post office didn’t seem to hang on to my Paper Pumpkin Kit this month like it normally seems like they do, so I got it in a reasonable time to make these Paper Pumpkin June 2021 Cards. Some of the these are designed how the kit instructions say and some I did something different. That’s the great thing about Paper Pumpkin Kits! The project is already designed for you so you don’t need any “mojo” to come up with your own design, but if you want to, you can use the supplies in the kit to change the design however you like or make absolutely anything! You can cut the card bases apart, even into little pieces and use them for a scrapbook page or for adding your own cardstock and making many more similar cards. You can do anything!

In this photo, the top card, the middle card, and the yellow card to the right are all made according to the directions (except for not noticing the stamping I should have done on the green card first!) in the kit. There is always also a video to watch if that is helpful for you. I always watch them just for fun!

This kit coordinated with the “in the catalog” Expressions in Ink Suite, especially the printed designs on the card base. Then there were vellum pieces (words and a background) to use, plus pretty iridescent sequins, and some Evening Evergreen twine.

For an alternate card to make with the kit materials, I used the floral vellum piece. The die in the Artistic Dies in the Suite actually matches the floral vellum piece! Isn’t that cool? I turned that vellum piece over to the backside and used my Stampin’ Blends to color in the flowers and leaves. That gives a soft look on the front and is really easy to do. You can check on the front to see how the colors are looking but you don’t really have to be exact because of the printed white lines on the vellum.

Paper Pumpkin June 2021 Alternative Card

To make this card, I used the Bumblebee yellow card base that came in the kit, but I also put a piece of Basic White cardstock behind the leafy vellum layer. This gave a more interesting background than just the plain white behind the colored vellum. Then I stamped a greeting from the kit but altered the tag a little bit. And of course the sequins add so much to a card!

The colorful flower and leaf die-cut pieces that come in the kit can be used whole as is or on my alternate cards, I cut them into smaller pieces so I could just stick a few behind a greeting. For the rest of the cards, I just played around making alternate designs with the supplies in the kit! And that’s what you can do, too!

Be sure to sign up by July 10th for the July Kit if you are interested! Each month is a surprise although Stampin’ Up! has started giving some basic clues about the kit so people have an idea of what they are getting. It’s a no-risk subscription because you can skip a month now and then if you want to or cancel any time. It’s always a treat to get the kit in your mailbox! I always say it’s a treat I give myself! And who doesn’t need a treat for themselves or others every month these days?!

If you are working on your Paper Pumpkin Kit, just remember you can change anything up or add pieces from your own craft supplies! Just have fun with it as I did with these Paper Pumpkin June 2021 Cards.

Paper Pumpkin always looks fun, but this upcoming kit for June really got me excited for it! Paper Pumpkin is the monthly papercrafting kit that comes to you in the mail from Stampin’ Up! and this kit for June is extra special! It will introduce you to the new 2021-23 In Color collection, and you’ll also find a familiar shade from the 2020-22 In Color Collection.

The In Color Collections are new colors introduced that are new, fresh, and trendy, but they only stick around for two years! So every year it is important to get the In Colors to add to your ink, marker, and paper collection!

This Paper Pumpkin Kit will have all the supplies you need to make 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs plus coordinating envelopes! And by coordinating, they mean “not plain white”. You will receive printed card bases, die-cut paper pieces, embellishments, adhesive, and more! The coordinating colors in June are Bumblebee, Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, and Polished Pink.

As always, this month’s kit features an exclusive stamp set. But, this month’s kit also includes not one, but two Classic Stampin’ Spots! (Little ink pads!) And to top it all off, the kit comes in a cute, colorful, and collectible box.

An extra bonus is that this kit coordinates with products from the Expressions in Ink Suite (item #155459) in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog. You will find this Suite on pages 96-97. It is also featured on the front of the new catalog! This Suite jumped right off the page at me and I absolutely love it!! The designer paper is stunning! That makes the Paper Pumpkin Kit extra exciting! And if you are not ready for the whole Suite yet, you can get a taste with the Paper Pumpkin Kit! At this moment, the Suite is backordered but likely will be available toward the end of June.

Get a taste of the new In Colors as well as coordination with the new Expressions In Ink Suite in the new catalog!
