It may almost be Christmas, but Stampin’ Up! still has some Weekly Deals for you! These deals are good today through December 28. The item I would most recommend is the Silver Glimmer Paper!  I love all the Glimmer Papers!

Stampin’ Up! also announced that they added more items to the Year-End Sale. I think the Artisan Embellishment Kit is one of the new items plus some Project Life Kits (love those!). The Artisan Embellisment Kit was very popular last year so you may want to pick that up for future Valentines and other cards. Remember, all of these products are only available while supplies last!

Here are the new Stampin’ Up! Weekly Deals for December 15-21.  The Cherry On Top Cotton Paper has such pretty colors!  Can’t resist!  Use the cotton paper, lighter weight but still sturdy, for making flowers or fringe or tassels as a colorful accent on a card or project! The Handpicked Framelits Dies are clearly made to look like they are for gardening for your friends with a green thumb, but don’t think that’s all they can do! They can be for any greeting, not just gardening. One of the cutest ideas I’ve seen is to turn the little signs upside down, then fold the “pick” part over to wrap around some ribbon or the edge of your project.  The Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack has some really pretty patterns in it, especially good for spring coming up! And then there is the Tag a Bag Accessory Pack, an easy way to make a bunch of tags to have on hand.  Get it now and after the holidays get some tags ready for birthdays and other occasions coming up in the new year!

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Gift Bag

As I was looking through Instagram, I found cute little reindeer boxes made with the Baker’s Box Framelits by @thepapercaper, a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Australia named Jessica. It reminded me that I had a small plain kraft gift bag laying on my desk waiting to be decorated, so I thought this might be the perfect inspiration!  So easy, so simple! Jessica’s had the box lid open and little ears and candy canes, but of course my bag was different and I didn’t have any candy canes yet.

I made a great big red nose for Rudolph with the Red Glimmer Paper, punched with the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch. The eyes are punched with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch and the 1″ Circle Punch.  For the antlers, I came up with punching the tree branch with the Tree Builder Punch (the one that coordinates with the Ronald McDonald stamp set, Sprinkles of Life).  I punched four branches or trees and trimmed the ends of two of them so I could glue one behind the other to look like antlers.  Since they are rather delicate being so thin, I didn’t have them pop up from the top of the bag or they would probably get bent up pretty easily, so I just glued them to the top corners of the gift bag. And for a little extra color, and to resemble the candy canes, I tied on a bow with the Real Red 1/8″ Striped Ribbon.

For All Things Thanksgiving Card

I am thankful to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for many reasons, perhaps the main one being the people I have met through the years, even customers who I have never met (yet!) in person.  My customer, Louise, sent me this beautiful card that she made for Thanksgiving with a sweet note inside. She probably didn’t know, but this For All Things Stamp Set has been one of my favorites since it came out last year. Not only do I love getting mail (who doesn’t?!) but in this day and age of so much junk mail, to get a real card, handmade, made my day! So never doubt what mailing one of your cards to someone might mean.

You may be very busy with Thanksgiving preparations, company coming, traveling yourself, or  who knows what, but don’t forget to take some time for yourself and check out the Stampin’ Up! Stampin' Up! Weekly Deal Nov 17 2015Here are the new Stampin’ Up! Weekly Deals for November 17 -23.  Need a Christmas stamp set? Choose the Jolly Christmas stamp set with the reindeer and plenty of greetings.  Get the Season of Cheer Cardstock Pack so you have Christmas colors handy. The Season to Season Wreath Kit can be changed out (the center garland) for different seasons.  I also saw online a cone tree decorated party with the paper leaves from the wreath kit for something different. And then we have the Snow Friends Framelits Dies that coordinate with the cute Snow Place Photopolymer Stamp Set.

If you want any of these items, just add them to your order or place a separate order.  Also, keep in mind the products Stampin’ Up! has listed as “retiring” from the Holiday Catalog. This means that these products will not carry over after the deadline from the Holiday Catalog so if you want any of them and have put off ordering, be sure to get them ordered pretty soon. Unfortunately, the accessories will only be available while supplies last as there is not enough time for reordering by Stampin’ Up! However, stamp sets will continue to be made until December 28 since Stampin’ Up! makes the stamps themselves.

Holiday Catalog Retiring Products

As we approach the end of the year, Stampin’ Up! is getting ready to retire stamps and accessories from the Holiday Catalog; but before they do, they’re giving everyone an opportunity to order their favorites. Find the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog Retiring List HERE.  Retiring products will only be available until January 4th.

  • Retiring products are only available while supplies last. The lists of retiring products will be updated every business day. Check with me if you want to find out about any certain product.
  • Remaining inventory for retiring products may appear later on the Clearance Rack.
  •  Due to high demand for retiring stamps, we’ll keep producing retiring stamps until December 28 (not accessories-accessories are only while supplies last).

This is the first time Stampin’ Up! has released a retiring list from a seasonal catalog. Take advantage of the list to make sure you get the products you want from the Holiday Catalog instead of guessing or waiting until the next Annual Catalog to find out!
