A Little Latte Thank So Much Card

A Little Latte Thank So Much Card

Here’s a card I don’t think I posted before but if you are a coffee-lover or know someone who is, don’t forget about the Latte Love Bundle, which is on the Bundle Sale right now! This A Little Latte Thanks So Much Card uses the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper and the Latte Love Stamp Set, which has my greeting. Be sure to take advantage of the Bundle Sale and save an additional 10%.

This card has a base of Early Espresso Cardstock and a layer of the cute latte art pattern in the A Little Latte Designer Paper. That pattern is one of my favorites in this package. The two coffee cups are fussy-cut (cut by hand) from another sheet of the designer paper. Two of the dies in the Latte Love Dies will cut out certain coffee cups from the designer paper.

The greeting is stamped from the Latte Love Stamp Set, as I mentioned. You can use these greetings on other cards that have nothing to do with coffee so you do get more opportunities out of this stamp set. The Latte Love Dies will cut out a coffee pot, a french press, cups, and extra little things like coffee beans and a spoon. You can create a whole coffee scene on your card, scrapbook page, or other project!

The ribbon on my card is the Pecan Pie 3/8″ Center Stripe Ribbon. This is a nice, soft ribbon that I like to use. It is a little easier to tie into a bow than the ribbon in the A Little Latte Suite Collection. That ribbon is the Natural 3/8″ Polka Dot Trim. I like it, too, but it is a little stiffer. Another embellishment on the card are the Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots. They look a little like a swirled latte but you can use them lots of places! You may have missed them when they were out of stock awhile back.

A Little Latte Thanks So Much Card

With all the excitement over the contents of the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, don’t forget about the choices in the Online Exclusives! This designer paper alone is so fun to work with, not to mention the whole A Little Latte Suite if you want it all!

The card base is Early Espresso but you can choose from other colors as well. I used two different patterns of the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper for the background layer. The piece on the left can be any width you like, probably about 1 1/2″ – 1 3/4″ and the plaid pattern can be the full 4″ width of just extend under the blue stripe a little bit. Before adhering the designer paper layer to the card, wrap around the ends of the Natural 3/8″ Polka Dot Trim Ribbon to the back at the top and bottom. Then tie on a short piece just for a knot, rather than a bow, since the ribbon is a little stiff and thick.

Two coffee or latte cups are just fussy-cut out of the designer paper. If you have Paper Snips or similar small scissors, it’s easy! You can adhere them flat or pop them up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The greeting is from the Latte Love Stamp Set. It is stamped on a piece of Basic White in Pecan Pie ink, then die cut with a rectangle from the Everyday Details Dies. Since the rectangle has holes around the border, I cut a piece the same size (just a smidge smaller) of Calypso Coral cardstock to show through the holes!

For a little embellishment, I added three Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots. They are also included in the A Little Latte Suite along with the ribbon, paper, stamps, and dies. As I write this, the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper is sold out but is expected back in stock the week of June 3rd. That makes the Suite unavailable but you can order the rest of the products separately. These are all in the Online Exclusives category rather than pictured in the catalog. Here is another card made in almost a similar way.

A Little Latte Hello There Card

A Little Latte Hello There Card

It had been a little while since I played with this A Little Latte Designer Series Paper. It’s so much fun because you can make little coffee scenes with it. Every sheet has something to do with coffee except maybe a plaid and a stripe. There are even patterns that look like coffee spills and coffee beans! This A Little Latte Hello There Card came about from looking through the designer papers and deciding on combining these two patterns.

The card base is Pecan Pie. You can use Early Espresso with this designer paper also, but I liked the lighter brown. I chose these two patterns for this card. The Calypso Coral paper with coffee beans gives a place to set the coffee cups. The two coffee cups are just cut out of one of the designer papers. They are easy to fussy-cut but there is a set of dies, the Latte Love Dies, that you might like to have. The little blue latte cup I glued down flat on the card and the yellow one I popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the greeting, I chose one from the Latte Love Stamp Set. I stamped it on Basic White in Calypso Coral ink and then diecut it with one of the label dies in the Unbounded Love Dies. These are coming in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog on May 1st. To help the greeting stand out better without a layer, I just sponged on some Calypso Coral ink around the edge, just a very narrow border around the greeting. Then the greeting is popped up on Dimensionals.

For some embellishment, I used the Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots that come in the A Little Latte Suite Collection. Of course, you can buy each product separately, but if you want it all, just put in the one item number for the Suite and you get everything! If you are a coffee-lover, you probably do want everything in this Suite!

You’ll find all these Latte products in the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives!

A Little Latte Hello There Card

A Little Latte Hello There Card

If you are a coffee lover I know you will want some or all of the products in the A Little Latte Suite Collection, especially the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper I would say! This A Little Latte Hello There Card was made with the designer paper plus one stamped greeting from the Latte Love Stamp Set.

This card is easy to make! The card base is Early Espresso cardstock although you could probably use Pecan Pie instead if you liked it a little lighter. I added a layer of Calypso Coral to brighten it up. The designer paper layer I thought was fun for a background – coffee rings!! The colorful cups with their foam designs on top were just fussy-cut out of the designer paper pattern of cups. They are easy to cut out so no worries!

The greeting is stamped with Early Espresso ink and is in the Latte Love Stamp Set. It’s a little dark for me but it’s okay. I already had this diecut from the Everyday Details Dies in my Basic White cardstock so I used it. I’ve used it a lot lately, but it’s a good size, very handy! Once I knew where I wanted to place it on my card, I stagged the coffee cups around. The middle one is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Fortunately, I remembered I had purchased the Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots in the Suite. They come in three colors: Pecan Pie, Petal Pink, and White. Sticking on some little embellishment on a card is always a fun finishing touch!

Unfortunately, these pretty Swirl Dots are sold out currently but more are expected the week of April 15. Since that is an item in the A Little Latte Suite, that makes the Suite unavailable, but you can order everything else separately, just not in the Suite. Sorry for the delay. Sometimes products come back in stock sooner than we expect so check back occasionally.
