Here’s a great way to use up some of your washi tape! Use your washi tape for gift wrap! Use plain white wrapping paper, as my friend did for my birthday present, and then decorate with washi tape. You could get real creative and colorful using washi tape this way.

Some other suggestions might be:

• Tape down a little bauble or favor on top of the package with washi tape.
• Write out the person’s name or initials in washi tape on the package.
• Use it instead of tape to hold the wrapping together or to adhere the gift card to the package.
• Use washi tape to decorate a plain white or kraft gift bag.
• Make a washi tape banner to string across the package.
